Could Antonio do enough to earn an England call up?
If he carries on scoring could be in with a shout.

No chance. Woy fucking LUUUURRRRVES his two Arsenal boys.

He took Ox to the world cup when the fucker wasn't even fit enough to play in any of the group games.

Can't see any of our players getting a look in whilst that daft old cunt is in charge.

Sterling, Ox, Walcott, Welbeck all ahead

Walcott and Ox he may be able to shift, but in terms of an out and out right sided wingman maybe Woy could do alot worse

To be fair to Hodgson, who I'm not a fan of, he was asked a question(s) about Rashford and give a fairly diplomatic answer. How did you want him to respond? 'No, he's got zero chance of making the squad, he won't be selected even he scores a hatrick in every game'

Re: Could Antonio do enough to earn an England call up?
Unfortunately for Antonio, there are similarities with Billy Bonds (the best player never to play for England), fantastic athlete, massive engine and determination, a match winner willing to do anything for the cause, but unfortunately plays for West Ham.

Bring on Lampard and Gerrard two of the greatest no-shows for England.

I cannot fucking believe Hodgson is going on about Rashford now. What a tool that man is.

Oh I don't think Antonio should be anywhere near the England team, but at the same time judging by some of the call ups we've always had and especially under Hodgson, it just becomes a farce.

I don't want any of our players associated with the shower of shit that is the England national team.

Just basing it on technique, Antonio should never play for England.

There's every chance Oxford will, though.

Reece Oxford would only get a shout if he was in a big money move to Man City or another 'big' team.

Re: Could Antonio do enough to earn an England call up?
There is absolutely zero chance Roy will not take Rooney unless he is obviously definitely injured. The press attention will be too much for him to handle.

The fact he is looking at this Rashford kid says all you need to know about his selection policy.

If Rashford gets close Reece Oxford must be in with a shout.

'AoI, how do you account for Hodgson picking Parker in the last Euros if as you suggest he has a negative view of us?''

Comma strikes again!

Agree with Grumpster

A small part of the BBC Sport quotes Roy as saying
"For me, it's all about the class of the player. It's about who is in form and out of form. Even to some extent I have to rely on others' judgement on that.

"Form is transient, but class isn't, " he added. "We need classy players and players we can trust and players we know what they will give us and players who have the desire, motivation and wish to play for England, to do all that's necessary."

So Roy is it form or class?

Grumps - Agreed. I'm beginning to want this cunt to fail in the summer, and I usually love these tournaments.

I see he's already at rashford. What a fucking moron this bloke is.

Scored twice against a shit Danish team and twice against an out of form shit arsenal team.

Oh, he plays for man utd though.

"Must admit Woy really has not learned a thing since taking on the national manager role."

His rs have improved no end.

Must be employing a speech therapist.

Re: Could Antonio do enough to earn an England call up?
.When Hodgson picks his squad of 23 for the tournament one of the things he will bear in mind is not to take more than one raspberry at worst. IMHO that precludes the likes of Wilshere and Shaw because they have not come back yet and it is probably too late for them to make an impact. Welbeck is back and is playing himself back into form. It might be that Hodgson decides not to take Rooney who has an injury problem and it could preclude him from being available for games.

Re: Could Antonio do enough to earn an England call up?
You can guarantee he will take all of the usual suspects to the Euros including Wiltshire and Shaw who will have played 2.5 games this season between them plus Lingaard and Welbeck.

Vardy will get two 5mins sub appearances before we get knocked out at the first knockout stage.

Then Woy, the cunt, will act all hard done by when he doesn't get a new contract.... or actually, more likely, get a new contract.

Re: Could Antonio do enough to earn an England call up?
Ive never been a big England fan, don't even bother watching them most of the time.

England managers seem to have to fit a certain criteria. To me they seem to be boring, have their certain set of fav players & don't like going beyond these unless they have to. Roy is the classic of the above.

How Cresswell & Noble don't get a look in on current form is crazy. I agree Antonio should as well. I always used to be amazed back in the day Devonshire never got more of a look in.
